There was once...For years Peter van Veldhoven, media artist and the designer of the Tagger bags line, has been inspired by graffiti, hip-hop and other trends in modern art. Without exception, art with a message. In his vision, one must make graffiti - a static art - mobile. In 2003 he came up with the idea of designing something as basic as a functional bag incorporating an exchangeable flap. The flap created a great 'wall' for creating a 'piece of art'. At first the flaps were blank and the set included a series of markers, enabling upcoming graffiti talent the space to create their own 'Piece'. A bit later a 'Collection' of flaps was added to the line. In less than two years Peter van Veldhoven has used the Tagger bag to successfully make contemporary art (with a message) mobile. Moreover, the completed forms are not accidental. Think of TV and multimedia. Tagger bags have a high zap-quotient, you determine the image yourself - the one that best reflects your feelings. Perhaps it is this aspect in particular that make Tagger something more than just another bag... it's your bag
